RS8 Restoration
Under cover and ready to start.
The fan is removed
Front view where the fan used to be
Pipes and fittings are removed
Spanners, grips, bars and saws are used
Wheels still turn after years of inactivity
Paintwork is badly damaged and steel panels are corroded
The protective shield at the rear has been removed
Metal panels are removed from the cab interior

Before the loco can be dismantled there are  many items to be removed and disconnected.  RS8 is brought into the Geoffrey Briddon  Building to do this.
